Usage Method
- Vehicle Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the vehicle chassis to remove impurities such as sediment, oil stains and rust on the surface. It can be rinsed with a high-pressure water gun and then wiped with a special cleaning agent to ensure the chassis surface is clean and dry.
- Component Protection: Wrap and cover non-spraying components on the chassis, such as exhaust pipes, sensors at the bottom of the engine, brake system components, etc., with masking film or tape to prevent the armor material from adhering.
- Surface Treatment: For parts with slight rust, gently polish to remove rust with sandpaper to keep the chassis surface flat and rough, and enhance the adhesion of the armor coating.
- Material Preparation: Fully stir the undercarriage armor coating evenly. If the coating is relatively viscous, add an appropriate amount of special diluent according to the product instructions and stir to a suitable concentration.
- Spraying Construction: Use a special spray gun, keep a distance of 30-50 cm from the chassis surface, and evenly spray the first coat of armor coating to ensure full coverage without omission.
- Multi-layer Spraying: Wait until the first coat is dry to the touch (usually 2-4 hours, depending on the ambient temperature and humidity), then apply the second or even third coat. The spraying direction of each layer can be crossed to ensure uniform coating thickness.
Precautions
- Drying and Maintenance: After construction, park the vehicle in a well-ventilated and dry environment to avoid rain and dust pollution, and let the coating dry and cure naturally. It usually takes 24-48 hours to fully dry (the specific time is affected by environmental factors).
- Initial Use Taboos: During the drying and curing period, avoid driving the vehicle on muddy and water-logged roads, and do not wash the chassis to prevent damage to the incompletely cured coating.
- Regular Inspection: After the vehicle is in normal use, regularly check whether the chassis armor coating is damaged or peeled off. If problems are found, repair them in time.
