Product brief introduction

An open mixing mill is a batch mixer for plastic and rubber compounds. It features two rollers running in opposite directions, with the distance between them adjustable. The machine’s primary purpose is to homogenize and plasticize raw materials before they are delivered to the calender. In rubber mixing, the rollers exert compression and shear forces on the rubber, repeatedly kneading it. This process not only blends components but also induces chemical reactions that reduce molecular chain length, ensuring the mixture is evenly dispersed and plasticized.
