Product Use

The efficacy of an internal mixer in rubber compounding stems from the synergistic effect of mechanical and chemical processing. Two intermeshing rotors rotating in opposition create high-intensity shear and compression zones. Through this cyclic kneading, the polymer matrix undergoes mechanochemical reactions, resulting in the scission of its long molecular chains. Simultaneously, this process facilitates the homogeneous incorporation and dispersion of various additives, which is the fundamental aim of the compounding stage.
