The Intelligent Moulding Sand Strength Tester QR-XQY-2 is designed for measuring compressive, shear, bending, and tensile strength of type (core) sand at room temperature or hot state. It can also determine the strength of materials like ceramics and cement.

Inadequate wet compressive strength of sand samples directly impacts sand mold strength, potentially causing defects like sand flushing, falling off, and sand expansion that affect casting dimensional accuracy. Conversely, excessive green compressive strength indicates poor collapsibility, affecting sand mold compactness and increasing casting crack tendencies.
