Excellent Chemical Resistance and Good Electrical Insulation in Polypropylene PP with Tensile Strength of 30-40 MPa
Product Description:
Polypropylene (PP) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer created by polymerizing propylene monomers. The chemical formula for PP is (C3H6) ₙ, and it has a density ranging from 0.89 to 0.92 g/cm³, making it one of the thermoplastic resins with the lowest density.
PP has a melting point range of 164~176 ℃ and can be used in temperatures ranging from -30 to 140 ℃. It is known for its lightweight nature, wear resistance, and ability to resist chemical corrosion.

Features:
Physical performance:
It is a white waxy solid, non-toxic and odorless, with a transparent appearance and lightweight texture. Excellent fatigue resistance, suitable for applications with repeated bending or twisting, with a water absorption rate of only 0.01% and excellent water stability.
Chemical properties:
Acid, alkali, alcohol and other corrosive substances, but weak tolerance to aromatic solvents (such as benzene), good biocompatibility, in line with medical material safety standards.
Processing performance:
It can be formed through extrusion, injection molding, blow molding and other processes, with a shrinkage rate of 1.8%~2.5% (reduced to 0.7% by adding glass fiber), easy to dye, but attention should be paid to the possible precipitation of small molecule substances at high temperatures.
