ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a commonly utilized engineering plastic created through the copolymerization of three monomers: acrylonitrile (A), butadiene (B), and styrene (S).Each of these monomers contributes specific properties to ABS. Acrylonitrile provides chemical resistance and heat stability, butadiene offers impact resistance and toughness, and styrene contributes rigidity and ease of processing.
