10-30 J/m Izod Impact Strength Low Density Polyethylene with Opaque Transparency and Recyclability
Product Description:
LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) is a thermoplastic material made from ethylene through high-pressure polymerization process. Due to the large number of short branches in its molecular chain, it has the characteristics of softness, impact resistance, and easy processing.
1. Core raw material composition
Main raw material: Ethylene
Derived from petroleum or natural gas, extracted through processes such as ethane steam cracking and naphtha cracking, it is the basic unit that constitutes the LDPE molecular chain.
Auxiliary raw materials
Catalyst (free radical initiator): such as benzoyl peroxide, triggers the polymerization of ethylene molecules, determining the reaction rate and polymer molecular weight.
Additives: added as needed to optimize performance, commonly including antioxidants (anti-aging), lubricants (easy to process), anti adhesion agents (preventing finished products from sticking), coloring agents (adjusting color), etc.
Features:
The material exhibits good resistance to low temperatures, maintaining its toughness well even at -60 ℃, making it suitable for use in freezing environments.
Furthermore, its resistance to various chemicals enhances its durability and applicability in different settings.
Thanks to its excellent processability, the material can be shaped into various forms with relative ease, broadening its range of potential uses.
