LLDPE, short for linear low-density polyethylene, differs from HDPE by incorporating short branched chains. This unique polyethylene variant merges the flexibility of low-density polyethylene with the strength of high-density polyethylene, embodying key attributes of "high toughness, easy processing, and low temperature resistance".
The introduction of short branched chains in LLDPE sets it apart as a distinct polyethylene form. This innovative blend of characteristics makes it a highly versatile material in various applications where toughness, processing ease, and resistance to low temperatures are critical factors.
Features:
Extremely strong toughness: The material exhibits exceptional toughness, surpassing LDPE in terms of impact resistance and puncture resistance. It is commonly used for plastic bags designed to carry heavy objects that require durability.
Outstanding low temperature resistance: It maintains good toughness even at -40°C, making it resistant to becoming brittle in extremely cold conditions. Additionally, the material offers medium transparency with slightly lower surface glossiness compared to LDPE.
Acid and alkali resistance: The material displays resistance to acids and alkalis, making it suitable for various chemical environments. It also exhibits organic solvent resistance and provides a good barrier to water and water vapor.
Excellent electrical insulation: It has excellent electrical insulation properties and can be effectively utilized as an insulation layer for wires and cables.
Good fluidity: The material has good fluidity, making it easy to shape through processes like blow molding and extrusion. It has a wide processing temperature range and high production stability, making it suitable for large-scale manufacturing of films, pipes, and other products.

Applications:
