By reasonably designing the mechanical model and member size of the structure, the stress of each component under different load conditions is ensured to be within a safe range.

Steel structures have low density and are much lighter than concrete bridges under the same bearing requirements. This reduces the requirements for foundation bearing capacity, reduces the scale and cost of foundation projects, and facilitates transportation and installation in areas with complex terrain and difficult construction.
