Application Methods
For Walls: In residential and commercial buildings, partition walls typically use a light steel frame filled with 5-8cm rock wool boards, covered with fire-resistant gypsum board. In industrial settings like chemical plants, concrete-based walls incorporate 5-10cm high-density rock wool boards with exterior fire-resistant steel plates.
For Floors & Ceilings: In commercial buildings, 5-8cm rock wool boards are installed between floor slabs to prevent downward fire spread. Ceiling fire partitions (50cm wide) are installed every 10-15 meters with 10cm-thick rock wool fill.
For Special Areas: Pipe shafts and cable trenches in high-rises use 8-10cm rock wool boards with fireproof glue seals. HVAC ducts incorporate fire dampers every 20-30 meters with 5cm-thick rock wool wrapping.
