Powered AC carts have power cables connected directly to electrical panels, typically for carts traveling along fixed paths with cable reels for management. Powered DC carts feature on-board batteries with average running times of 16 hours, with DC battery charging units installed on-board. Extended battery life is available with four batteries instead of two.
How fast can the transfer cart travel?
Standard carts feature drive motor speeds of 50 fpm (with brake). Optional VFD (electric car only) provides soft start/stop movement. Faster travel speeds are available upon request.
