Our single mode armored fiber optic cables are engineered for demanding industrial and telecommunications applications, available in configurations from 6 to 24 cores with GYXTW, GYTS, and GYTA53 constructions.
The cable features 125μm fibers positioned in high modulus plastic loose tubes filled with water-resistant compound. A central steel wire strength member provides structural integrity, with tubes and fillers stranded around it to form a compact circular core.
An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) barrier surrounds the cable core, filled with protective compound to prevent water ingress. The complete assembly is protected by a durable PE sheath.
