60 Core OPGW Optical Ground Wire Overview
The OPGW cable features a central aluminum-covered steel tube surrounded by single or double layers of aluminum clad steel wires (ACS) or a mix of ACS wires and aluminum alloy wires. The aluminum-covered stainless steel tube design increases the aluminum cross-section, providing superior fault current and lightning resistance performance. Ideal for transmission lines requiring small diameter with large fault current capacity.

Packaging and Shipping
Cable is supplied in lengths as specified in purchase instructions or requirements. Each length ships on a separate iron-wooden drum with minimum barrel diameter not less than 30 times the cable diameter. Cable ends are sealed with plastic protection caps to prevent water penetration and remain easily accessible for testing. A final inspection test report with attenuation performance data for each fiber is included inside the drum.
