Construction and Standards
250μm fibers are positioned in high modulus plastic loose tubes filled with water-resistant compound. A steel wire central strength member provides structural support. Tubes are stranded around the strength member into a compact circular core. An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) is applied around the cable core with filling compound for water protection, completed with a PE sheath.
GYTA fiber cable complies with Standard YD/T 901-2001 and IEC 60794-1.
