Product Overview

The TEG Gas Dehydration Unit is designed for wet natural gas purification with capacities ranging from 2.5 to 50×10⁴ Nm³/d. Operating with 150-100% elasticity and 8000 annual production hours, this system effectively removes water content from natural gas streams.

Process Description

This system utilizes 99.74% triethylene glycol (TEG) as the dehydrating agent to remove saturated water from wet natural gas. After purification through the TEG absorber, the dry gas achieves a water dew point below -5°C under factory pressure conditions, making it suitable for pipeline transmission.

The water-absorbed TEG undergoes regeneration through atmospheric pressure fire tube heating. After heat exchange, the cooled lean liquid is pressurized and returned to the TEG absorption tower for continuous recycling.

Regeneration byproducts, primarily water vapor with minimal hydrocarbons, are safely processed through the sulfur recovery system and burned in the exhaust gas furnace to eliminate environmental pollution and safety hazards.
