Process Overview
This natural gas desulfurization system removes hydrogen sulfide and other impurities from sour natural gas using advanced chemical treatment processes to produce clean, pipeline-quality gas.
Key Process Stages
- Desulfurization: Feed gas is treated in float valve tower using MDEA solution to remove sulfur compounds
- Dehydration: Wet natural gas enters dehydration tower where TEG solution removes moisture content
- Regeneration: Both MDEA and TEG solutions are continuously regenerated for efficient cyclic operation
- Sulfur Recovery: H2S gas is converted to elemental sulfur through controlled reaction processes
