The 228-9129 12V electric gear-type lift pump is designed for Perkins T4.236 and AT4.236 turbocharged diesel engines (4.0L, 4-cylinder). This pump powers agricultural tractors including Massey Ferguson 2400- and 3400-series, combine harvesters like the MF 7200 line, generator sets from FG Wilson and Pramac, and industrial machinery such as JCB 3CX backhoe loaders and Manitou MLT telehandlers. It mounts on the rear left face of the timing cover and supplies filtered fuel to the high-pressure injection pump across engine speeds from 650 r/min idle to 2,400 r/min rated.
