This 2486A990 plate-and-fin oil cooler is specifically engineered for Perkins 1104C-44T, 1104D-44T and 1106C-E70TA turbo-diesel engines (4.0-6.0 L) that power Massey Ferguson 6400-, 7400- and 8200-series tractors, Landini Legend and Rex 5 row-crop machines, JCB 4CX backhoe loaders and 540-140 telehandlers, plus FG Wilson P55-6 and Pramac GSW180P skid-mounted generator sets. It mounts directly on the oil-filter pad at the left side of the cylinder block and reduces oil temperature from 130°C to 95°C under sustained full-load operation, ensuring stable viscosity and prolonged engine life across agricultural, construction and standby-power sectors.
