WESPC Valve Guide CH10724 for Perkins 2306 2506 2806 Series - 8.00mm ID, 14.00mm OD, 60mm Length

This precision-machined valve guide is designed for inlet and exhaust valves in Perkins 2306, 2506, and 2806 series diesel engines. These 6-cylinder 4.0L engines share the same cylinder-head architecture as the earlier T4.236 and AT4.236 turbocharged family.

Manufactured from continuous-cast CuZn39Pb3 brass bar stock providing 120 HB hardness and >280 MPa yield strength at 250°C. The leaded brass alloy resists valve-stem micro-welding and galling in engines running on low-sulphur diesel or high-biodiesel blends.

• Internal 0.5 × 45° chamfer at each end prevents stem scuffing during assembly
• Stress-relief annealed after machining to remove residual draw stress
• 100% plug-gauged to maintain stem clearance within 40-70 µm range
• Designed for 20,000-hour overhaul intervals typical of 400 kVA generator sets
