Application
These hardened-steel split cotters lock the intake and exhaust valves of 3- and 4-cylinder Perkins 1103/1104 diesel engines (3.3-4.4 L) into their spring retainers. Compatible with JCB 3CX back-hoes, MF 1700 tractors, and 45 kVA "Vista A" generator sets. Designed to withstand 30 g valve-train acceleration at 3,000 min⁻¹ without spreading or fretting, guaranteeing 12,000 hours of service before overhaul.
