Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) elastomer offers numerous advantages with a wide variety of available grades including general purpose, food-grade, medical, self-adhesive, low-volatile, optically clear, and specialty grades in a range of durometers from very firm to very soft.
LSR materials are inherently insulating with superior heat and flame resistance, making them ideal for electrical, automotive, and industrial applications. Their natural biocompatibility and hypo-allergenic properties make them excellent for skin-contact products.
LSR's physical properties, including high compression set, allow parts to maintain their original shape after numerous compressions and uses, even in extreme temperatures. These versatile materials are naturally translucent white but can be pigmented in various colors.
