Working Principle and Technology
Liquid silicone injection moulding machines employ cold runner technology. After precisely blending the low-temperature liquid A and B components of silicone in the correct ratio, the mixture is pressurized by a screw and injected into the high-temperature mould cavity. Under the mould's heating action, a rapid chemical cross-linking reaction occurs, causing the material to cure and form. This achieves high-precision, high-efficiency automated production through the chemical reaction sequence of 'mixing-injection-heated vulcanisation'.
Working Principle Flow
- Raw Material Delivery and Mixing: Liquid silicone rubber components A (catalyst) and B (cross-linking agent) are conveyed in fixed ratio to a static mixer for thorough blending
- Injection Moulding: Mixed silicone is propelled through cold runner system and rapidly injected into preheated mould cavity
- High-Temperature Vulcanisation Moulding: Chemical cross-linking reaction rapidly solidifies liquid silicone into elastic, stable products
- Pressure Holding and Cooling: Constant pressure ensures dimensional accuracy; mould cools and opens to remove cured product
- Automation and Repeat Production: Cyclical automated sequence minimizes manual intervention and enhances production efficiency
