Large-Scale Sewage Sludge Dewatering Belt Filter Press 1000-2000mm Width with 75-85% Moisture Removal
A Belt Filter Press is a sludge dewatering device that applies mechanical pressure to chemically conditioned slurry sandwiched between two tensioned belts. The system operates through three distinct zones: gravity drainage, wedge preparation, and pressure application for optimal moisture removal.
The system conditions feed sludge with polyelectrolyte and drains flocculated sludge over an endless horizontal porous filter belt. Thickened sludge is then sandwiched by a second filter belt before progressive dewatering through decreasing diameter rollers. Final moisture removal is achieved by shear rollers with 180-degree belt wrap for optimal efficiency.
