The Bently Nevada 163179-01 is a high-accuracy Enhanced Keyphasor Input Module from the industry-leading 3500 Machinery Protection System, designed to provide reliable speed, phase, and timing reference signals for critical rotating equipment monitoring. As part of Bently Nevada’s trusted 3500 series, this module delivers precise Keyphasor® signal conditioning essential for advanced diagnostics such as orbit plots, shaft centerline analysis, startup/shutdown trending, and dynamic balancing in turbines, compressors, pumps, generators, and other high-speed machinery.
The 163179-01 supports two independent Keyphasor inputs, each capable of accepting signals from proximity probes, magnetic pickups, or optical sensors, with wide-ranging voltage and frequency compatibility (from near standstill to over 10,000 RPM). Its advanced signal processing includes adaptive triggering, noise immunity, and waveform shaping, ensuring clean, stable tachometer pulses even in electrically noisy industrial environments or during variable-speed operation.
