Specifically engineered for feeder, transformer, and motor protection, the SPBRC410 delivers advanced protection, monitoring, metering, and communication capabilities in a cost-effective, IEC 61850-compliant platform—ideal for modernizing distribution networks, renewable energy integration, and critical infrastructure.
Based on ABB’s proven 615 architecture, the SPBRC410 supports essential protection functions such as overcurrent (phase & earth), thermal overload, breaker failure, and directional overcurrent, while offering integrated IEC 61850 Edition 2 support with GOOSE messaging for fast peer-to-peer communication. Its compact design, front-facing HMI, and plug-in terminal blocks simplify installation, commissioning, and maintenance—even in space-constrained switchgear panels.
