Double Glazed Thermal Insulated Aluminum Windows Multi Functions
Multi Functions Double Glazed Aluminium Thermal Insulation Window
Product Description:
Aluminum is a highly conductive metal, meaning it easily transfers heat. This property makes traditional, "cold-cut" aluminum window frames a major source of energy loss in buildings, as they create a thermal bridge that allows heat to escape in the winter and enter in the summer. To address this, modern aluminum windows use a technology called a thermal break.
What is a Thermal Break? A thermal break is an insulating barrier inserted into the aluminum frame to interrupt the continuous metal pathway. This non-conductive material "breaks" the thermal bridge, significantly reducing the transfer of heat and cold through the frame. The aluminum frame is manufactured in two separate pieces, an interior section and an exterior section. The thermal break material is then used to connect these two pieces, creating a barrier that separates the inside of the frame from the outside.

Advantages:
- Improved Energy Efficiency: By dramatically reducing heat transfer, thermally broken windows help maintain a stable indoor temperature, leading to lower heating and cooling costs. The U-value, which measures heat transfer, can be reduced by 70-85% compared to traditional aluminum frames.
- Reduced Condensation: Since the inside of the frame remains closer to the ambient indoor temperature, it reduces the risk of condensation forming on the window, which can lead to moisture buildup and mold growth.
- Enhanced Comfort: Thermally broken windows help eliminate cold spots and drafts near the window, making for a more comfortable living environment year-round.
- Acoustic Insulation: The thermal break also contributes to better sound dampening, improving the window's acoustic performance.
