Product Description
Aluminum Alloy Thermal Insulation Double Glass Swing or Sliding Windows
Product Description:
Aluminum Alloy Thermal Insulation Double Glass Swing or Sliding Windows refer to windows made of aluminum alloy materials with thermal insulation properties and equipped with double - layer hollow glass, which can be opened in the form of swinging or sliding. The combination of these features, particularly with modern advancements, can provide excellent thermal insulation.

Key Components:
- Thermal Break Aluminum Frames: Aluminum is a highly conductive material, meaning it easily transfers heat and cold. To counteract this, modern aluminum frames use a "thermal break" technology. This involves inserting a non-conductive material, often a reinforced polyamide, between the interior and exterior aluminum profiles. This breaks the thermal bridge, significantly reducing heat transfer through the frame and preventing issues like condensation and frost in cold climates.
- Double Insulated Glass Units (IGUs): This is the core of the window's thermal performance. An IGU consists of two panes of glass separated by a sealed air space. To enhance insulation, this space is often filled with an inert gas, such as argon or krypton, which is less conductive than air. The glass panes themselves may also have a low-emissivity (Low-E) coating, which reflects radiant heat, keeping a home warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
- Insulating Spacers: The spacer is the component that separates the two panes of glass in an IGU. While traditional aluminum spacers can still create a thermal bridge at the edge of the glass, modern "warm-edge" spacers, made from materials like stainless steel or polymer composites, are designed to be much less conductive. Using warm-edge spacers can significantly improve the window's overall thermal performance and help prevent condensation from forming on the inside of the glass.
