All HENGLONG shank adapters are made from premium steel, then carburized and CNC machined. This process gives them superior toughness and anti fatigue strength to meet the most demanding drilling conditions. We can manufacture all shanks with either male or female threads, fully tailored to customer's specific requirements.

The shank adapter functions to transmit rotation torque, feed force and impact energy, and convey flushing medium to the drill string (including extension drill rods and drifting drill steels). HENGLONG shank adapters are crafted from specially selected materials and hardened via carburizing to withstand the high impact power of modern rock drills. HENGLONG currently offers around 300 different shank adapters, each compatible with specific rock drills including Atlas Copco, Sandv, Tamrock, and Garden Diver series drifters.
