Product Description
Sublimation Paper

Product Overview:

Professional-grade transfer paper designed for vibrant and durable image transfer onto polyester-based fabrics and coated substrates. Its 70g weight ensures reliable handling and minimal curling during printing, while the specialized coating maximizes ink release and color brilliance during the heat press process. Ideal for sportswear, promotional products, and custom merchandise production.
Key Advantages

  • Medium-weight durability – 70gsm basis provides enhanced stability for smooth printing and easy handling, reducing paper curl and jams.
  • High-release coating – Ensures over 95% ink transfer efficiency with minimal ghosting for sharp, vibrant prints.
  • Wide heat press compatibility – Withstands 190–230°C for 30–90 seconds, adaptable to varied substrates and press setups.
  • Low-dust, high-speed feeding – Optimized for continuous production with minimal static and reliable printer performance.
  • Universal sublimation ink ready – Works with all major dye-sub inks for consistent color reproduction on polyester materials.

Procurement & Usage Tips (FAQ)

Q1: What are the core differences between this 70g transfer paper and the commonly used 35g/50g products?
A1: The main differences are in three aspects:
  • Paper stability: The 70g weight is more resistant to curling during printing, especially suitable for long-format output on wide-format printers.
  • Transfer efficiency: The higher weight provides more even ink absorption, reducing the "paper ghosting" phenomenon after transfer.
  • User-friendliness: The thicker paper base reduces the risk of wrinkling during high-speed printing, offering higher tolerance for beginners.
Q2: How to optimize the transfer effect on dark-colored garments?
A2: For dark-colored fabrics, it is recommended to:
  1. Pre-press the garment before heat transfer (150°C/10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles).
  2. Increase the transfer temperature to 215-220°C and extend the time to 70-80 seconds.
  3. Use a hard silicone pad instead of a regular sponge pad to ensure even pressure distribution.
  4. Let the garment cool naturally for 20 seconds under the heat press before peeling off the paper.
Q3: Can transfer paper that failed the first attempt be reused?
A3: Strongly not recommended, because:
  • Reheating will alter the paper coating, causing uncontrollable ink residue.
  • The fiber structure of the failed transfer paper has changed, and reprinting may result in misalignment and bleeding.
  • Economically, the cost of a single sheet of transfer paper is far lower than the risk of material waste from reuse.
(Alternative solution: slightly flawed transfers can be repurposed for small-scale cutting applications.)
