Ceramic Layer Transfer in MLCC Production
Primary Role: Acts as a carrier substrate during the ceramic slurry casting process. The film holds the ceramic slurry in place while solvents evaporate, forming uniform ceramic green sheets.
Key Requirement: High smoothness (≤0.2μm defects) to ensure defect-free ceramic layers, critical for high-capacity MLCCs.
High-Temperature Process Compatibility
Thermal Stability: Withstands 150-200°C during sintering and annealing processes, maintaining structural integrity.
Cleanroom Compatibility: Produced in Class 1,000 or higher cleanrooms to minimize particle contamination during MLCC fabrication.
