Introduction to Sheet Metal Gripper
Sheet metal grippers are universal solutions for robotic part handling and press shop applications. Their lightweight design ensures high transfer speeds and improved press tending efficiency. Enclosed models are available for harsh welding environments, with an internal mechanism that keeps grippers closed during air loss. All grippers are lightweight and compact, featuring modular openings, various grip styles, multiple contact points, easy on-site jaw reconfiguration, adjustable opening angles, multipoint sensing and minimal maintenance. The hot metal pneumatic gripper system offers a rugged high-temperature solution, handling materials up to 1650 °F (900 °C). It suits hot sheet metal, plastic and thermoforming applications, with regular and flanged claws for different material thicknesses.
