The washer is a fastener used between the supporting surface of the bolt, screw or nut and the connected part, which can protect the surface of the connected part, prevent the fastener from loosening, and serve other special purposes.
Washers are divided into several types:
- Flat washers - Class C
- Large washers - class A and C
- Small washers - class A
- High strength washers for steel structure
- Spherical washers
- Conical washers
- Standard spring washers
- Internal/external tooth lock washers
- Stop washers (single ear, double ear, outer tongue, round nut)
| Automotive | In high-strength applications such as automotive engines, heavy-duty machinery, and bridge construction, preferred for their larger support area and better anti-loosening performance. |
| Mechanical | Used in mechanical, electronic, automotive, construction fields to connect various mechanical parts, circuit boards, engines, transmissions, building structures, etc. |
| Energy | For the energy industry, used to connect power generation equipment and transmission lines. |
| Architectural | In construction engineering, shipbuilding, and petrochemical industry, used to connect building structures, improve navigation safety and stability of ships, and ensure safety of petrochemical equipment. |
| Aluminum | Excellent thermal and electrical conductivity but naturally soft. May produce gelatinous buildup after processing. |
| Titanium | EDM machining is well suited for titanium. Deionized water is needed as a medium to help control heat. |
| Steel | Very strong metal. Generates a lot of heat during processing. |
| Brass | High tensile strength and easy to machine, but requires slow cutting speed. |
Non-metal washers: Made of polymer materials (rubber, plastic) with good sealing and shock absorption properties. Suitable for sealing, shock absorption, and heat insulation applications.
Metal washers: Made of metallic materials (steel, copper, aluminum) with high strength and corrosion resistance. Suitable for high temperature, high pressure, and heavy load conditions.
Composite washers: Combination of metal and non-metal materials, combining advantages of both. Suitable for various working conditions including chemical and food processing equipment.
