Enhances Green Strength, Reducing Susceptibility To Cracking During Drying And Firing CMC-NH4
Complete High-temperature Combustion, Low Residual Carbon, No Ash Residue CMC-NH4
CMC-NH₄ (Ammonium Carboxymethyl Cellulose) is a specialized binder and plasticizer designed for the extrusion molding of honeycomb ceramics. Free from alkali metal ions, it undergoes complete decomposition during high-temperature calcination, resulting in extremely low ash residue that does not compromise the purity or thermal stability of the ceramic material. It offers excellent plasticity, lubrication, and water retention capabilities, thereby improving the extrusion flow properties of the ceramic paste. This ensures that the green body remains resistant to deformation, cracking, and collapse; the cured green body exhibits high mechanical strength, while the fired product features uniform pore distribution and a dense structure. It is ideally suited for the production of various honeycomb ceramic applications, including exhaust gas carriers, heat regenerators, and filtration ceramics.

- Strong adhesion: Improves green body strength, reduces cracking, chipping, and deformation.
- Superior water retention: Delays moisture loss, prevents drying cracks, and improves yield.
- Easy molding: Optimizes slurry rheology, making extrusion/slurry injection smoother and preventing mold clogging.
- Clean sintering: Completely burns off at high temperatures, resulting in near-zero residual carbon, preventing blackening and pore clogging.
- High purity: Free from impurities, does not affect ceramic color and performance.
