IS220PAICH1B is a high-density, 16-channel process-analog module that plugs directly into any Mark VIe VME rack. Each channel is software-selectable for 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, ±20 mA, 0-5 V, 1-5 V, ±5 V or ±10 V, eliminating external converters and cutting panel cost by up to 25%. On-board 24 V loop supply, HART pass-through, short-circuit protection and TÜV-certified SIL 2 capability make it the default choice for gas & steam turbine auxiliaries, plant BOP loops and safety-critical processes.

Installation & Startup
- Slot module into any Mark VIe VME slot; captive screws 0.5 N*m.
- Wire sensors - use shielded twisted-pair, drain to earth at pack only.
- Configure - ToolboxST > I/O > PAICH > range, scale, HART enable, alarms.
- Verify LEDs - green "STATUS" steady, green "ACTIVE" flashes at 2 Hz.
- HART check - use handheld to read PV; module passes carrier untouched.
