Ultra-rapid arc-quenching (< 1 ms) protects IGBT bridges, DC-bus capacitors and semiconductor contactors inside ABB DCS/ACS drives, ensuring SIL 2 / IEC 60269-4 compliance for paper, metals, crane and marine applications.
