MPRC 086444-005 is a single-slot, direct-fiber measurement & control board that adds high-speed analogue/digital acquisition plus optical data links to any Advant or Safoc rack. On-board 14-bit ADC, 1 kHz scan rate, dual LC fibre ports (1 Gb/s) and full galvanic isolation make it the default choice for encoder-less drives, rolling-mill load cells, paper-machine steam loops and other noise-critical applications.

Installation & Start-up

Slide module into 35 mm DIN-rail; latch until click.
Connect sensors - shielded twisted-pair, shield earthed at panel entry only.
Plug LC fibres - clean connectors, tighten dust-caps; green "LNK" LEDs light.
Configure controller - select "MPRC 086444-005" in 800xA, set scaling & filters.
Verify data - inject 4 mA, check 3276 counts; 20 mA -> 16383 counts.
