Software Integration
Engineers can configure and control the NI PXI-2596 RF Multiplexer Switch Module using NI Switch Executive 2.1, which provides enhanced functionality for Excel, RF switching, and switch system troubleshooting. The software enables automatic access to settings for each switch path, allowing storage of RF path calibration and parameter data to improve overall test system accuracy.
The new configuration programming interface allows experts to define and arrange their NI Switch Executive virtual devices from any programming environment, including NI TestStand test management software, NI LabVIEW graphical development environment, NI LabWindows/CVI ANSI C development software, and Microsoft Excel. Existing switch path records created in Excel can be imported into the NI Switch Executive environment for easier maintenance and adjustment.
