Zirconia abrasive belts are primarily made up of zirconia abrasives. In comparison with silicon carbide, they boast remarkably high self-sharpening performance. Put simply, they are far sharper than other abrasives; when their surface loses smoothness, the outer layer will shed to re-expose the sharp abrasives underneath. Even in high-pressure and high-speed working conditions, they can still retain exceptional sharpness. These belts are applied to surface finishing and deburring of materials needing prolonged grinding, including stainless steel and carbon steel alloys. Their cost is lower than that of diamond abrasive belts and similar products, while also cutting down on labor costs.
