The RAD-S80 measures radon gas concentration through static air diffusion and electrostatic collection. Leveraging the radioactive characteristics of radon gas and its daughters, the detector obtains alpha counts through a planar silicon detector and signal acquisition system, and calculates the radon concentration to achieve long-term continuous monitoring of radon levels in the environment.
