Working Principle
The A15VSO operates on the swashplate principle with rotating cylinder block technology. Nine pistons arranged in a cylinder block reciprocate against a tilted swashplate. The swashplate angle determines the piston stroke and thus the pump displacement. Hydraulic pressure acting on the control piston adjusts the swashplate angle, varying the displacement according to the selected control type.
