Aramid ropes are wrapped on the rollers of tempering furnaces to facilitate rapid transportation of high temperature glass. After heating in the furnace, the glass is cooled rapidly by the wind grid. The Kevlar roller rope effectively protects the high temperature glass from contacting low temperature metal roller tables, preventing cold explosions and scratches.
