Exceptional Chemical Resistance
The 6HX PTFE Heater provides excellent chemical resistance to aggressive acids, featuring a 6-element design with low watt density. It includes a built-in thermal protector and grounded element for enhanced safety.
Compatible with virtually any chemistry - The fluoropolymer (PTFE) sleeved 304 stainless steel elements are inert to most solutions, and the heater is equipped with a corrosion-resistant head.

Specify thermal overload protection desired. Guards are recommended on over the side heaters and required on L-Shaped heaters. Standard guard is polypropylene. Fluoropolymer (PTFE) guards recommended for chromic acid and solutions exceeding 180º F (82ºC).
