All-plastic immersion-type grid coils are suitable for heating and cooling of concentrated inorganic acids, cooling of alkaline corrosive liquids, heating or cooling of high-purity media, or aggressive and scale depositing liquids in tanks or other process equipment. They are integral components in the surface finishing and the chemical process industries. PVDF grid coils can be used for steam heating of corrosive media such as inorganic acids utilized in the steel picking industry.
thermoplastic heating and cooling grid coils are fabricated from standardized tubular modules which allows an optimal design to meet the customers’ specifications. All fittings and support elements are also designed according to the customers’ requirements.
The tube modules are produced using a unique manufacturing process, insuring minimal pressure loss, while providing high heating/cooling performance.
The modular design allows us to customize the heat exchanger fabrication to create the most efficient cooling or heating flow to meet our customers’ needs. The modules have very high surface area in a very compact space so that the Calorplast heat exchangers utilize minimum space in the tank.
Each heat exchanger is calculated and optimized using a computer-aided simulation allowing us to create the most reliable configuration at a reasonable price.
Our heat exchangers are easily cleaned using pressurized water, steam or chemicals insuring a long operating life.

Anodizing
Anodizing is an electrochemical process of converting a metal surface into an oxide layer. Mainly aluminum is used for anodizing, although other nonferrous metals, such as titanium and magnesium, can also be anodized. The metal part is connected as the anode and immersed into an acid electrolyte bath, where an electric current is applied to grow the oxide layer from the piece. The resulting surface finish will provide functional properties as corrosion-resistance and durability, as well as decorative properties. Surplus heaters provide beautiful, precise finishes. Surplus power supplies deliver high current, high accuracy, and high energy efficiency to meet a modern anodizing process's requirements.
