ASTM A268 TP405 boiler tubes are manufactured from the ferritic stainless steel material that is mainly suited to the production of heat exchanging equipment, boilers, tubes, and condensers in elevated temperature operations. TP 405 is a stainless steel 405 which offers high resistance to oxidation and appreciable high temperature corrosion. This also possess nice features in weldability and formability and therefore can be used in steam and high pressure zones.
