ASTM A790 UNS S32520 is a ferritic-austenitic (duplex) stainless steel seamless and welded pipe known for its high strength and excellent corrosion resistance, particularly against stress corrosion cracking. It is suitable for general corrosive service and used in demanding environments like offshore platforms, chemical plants, and oil and gas extraction. It has a unique microstructure with approximately 50% austenite and 50% ferrite.
