ASTM A335 P1 Seamless Alloy Steel Pipe For High-Temperature Service
ASTM A335 P1 Seamless Alloy Steel Pipe For High-Temperature Service
Specification
ASTM A335 P1 Seamless Alloy Steel Pipe is for high-temperature service, containing ~0.5% Molybdenum (Mo) for enhanced strength, creep resistance, and wear properties, with applications in power plants, oil & gas, and petrochemicals for steam, fluid transport, and heat exchangers. Key features include minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa (60 ksi), minimum yield strength of 205 MPa (30 ksi), and various heat treatments (annealing, normalizing/tempering) for optimal performance, often being a more economical choice than higher-alloy grades.
