The Pepperl+Fuchs NJ2-V3-N is a NAMUR-type intrinsically safe inductive proximity sensor designed for hazardous area applications. It features a compact M12 housing with a 2 mm flush-mount sensing range and a normally closed (NC) output. Operating on a nominal 8.2 V DC supply with very low current switching (≤3 mA), it is specifically engineered for use with isolating barriers or safety relays in oil & gas, chemical, and pharmaceutical processes requiring SIL 2 compliance and ATEX/IECEx certification.
