The ABB RTAC-01-KIT is a resolver-to-digital interface card kit (RTAC-01 module plus mounting hardware/cable harness) used to connect a motor-mounted resolver to ABB low- and medium-voltage AC drives — including ACS350, ACS510, ACS550, ACS580, ACS880 series. It enables closed-loop vector control (Closed Loop Flux Vector / DTC with feedback) by converting the resolver's sine/cosine analog signals into a digital position/speed value for the drive microprocessor.
