6EP3436-8SB00-0AY0 is the basic power module of the SITOP PSU8600 modular system — a high-performance 24 V DC / 20 A (480 W) switched-mode power supply designed for demanding industrial automation backplanes. It accepts a 3-phase 400–500 V AC input and delivers a tightly regulated 24 V DC output with < 30 mVpp ripple. The PSU8600 architecture allows stacking of buffer (UPS), redundancy (OR-ing), and communication (PROFINET/PROFIBUS) modules directly onto the basic unit — making it the preferred 24V DC source for S7-400, PCS 7, and large ET 200SP/ET 200M cabinets requiring diagnostics and controlled shutdown.
