Product Overview
The Weidmüller UR20-16DI-P is a 16-channel digital input module for the u-remote (UR20) I/O system, designed to acquire 24 V DC binary signals from sensors, switches, or dry contacts. All 16 inputs are Type 1 / Type 3 compliant (IEC 61131-2) and accept sink (NPN) or source (PNP) wiring — the module detects the active state regardless of polarity to common 0 V or +24 V. Each channel has an individual status LED, and the module features a diagnostic LED (RUN/ERR). It connects to the u-remote backplane via the P-coded (P = Process data) system bus connector and uses plug-in spring-cage terminals (PUSH IN) for field wiring. Compatible with all UR20 fieldbus couplers (PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS DP-V1, Modbus TCP, CANopen, CC-Link).
